Bachman built a small palm sized motor and Geltz made a seven foot wing plane that soared on wind and was seen near Akron and Reamstown before landing undamaged on a farmer’s field in Oregon. The craft traveled about 25 miles after being released Sunday afternoon and then drifted with the gale.
