Fourth Celebration Plans Highlight July Fifth Events
The fireworks contract is signed for a spectacular display on July 5. A program booklet will list the day's events and posters will be distributed countywide. The head spring wall is being restored and the bubblers removed. A lion’s head statue from 1857 is cleaned, an American flag placed on the island, and a new bubbler fountain site is prepared. The old band is gone and the Sportsmen’s Association will host trout displays with screens to separate species until after the celebration.
