Pretzels Take Two In Narrow Friday Wins Over Lititz
The Pretzels beat Pleasant Hill Lebanon in morning and afternoon games on Decoration Day. The morning pitcher duel featured Spindler versus Doremus, with Lititz mistakes and late hits giving Lebanon a 1 to 0 win. In the afternoon Lititz pitcher McAland struggled, but Lebanon rallied behind Wagner and Mearig to pull out a 7 to 6 victory as Lititz’s defense faltered late.
