Legion Band Here Saturday in City Concert
The American Legion Band of Lancaster led by Fred S. Bear will provide music for a concert this Saturday here. The crack ensemble was a big hit last year among visiting bands and usually features a soloist. Anticipation is high for their appearance and a large crowd is expected. Last Saturday’s warm weather drew a large audience when the Denver band performed, pleasing listeners with band member singing prior to soloists becoming common.
