Snowbird Lennox treks twelve miles through Oregon woods at night to reach a ranger station after her father Dan Lennox is crushed by a felled tree. With him badly injured by broken ribs and a leg, she plans to summon help, fight off a pursuing outlaw, and save him in the isolated Umpqua Divide.
