The men of Lititz Moravian Church will serve a banquet to the ladies of the congregation next Thursday evening January 21 at 6 80 o'clock in Fellowship Hall. Tickets are available from Young People's Department members as plates are limited.
Four faculty members were absent due to illness including Margaret Flower Helen Quinn Elizabeth Workman and Frances McGin his substituting teachers Ford Godenaur and Gracy Sesseman. 1d year exams set for January 19 and 20. Juniors' play scheduled for February 17 and 18. Moving pictures on a V type engine shown in assembly. The gym overflowed Friday night as the local basketball five defeated Ephrata 33-25 in a Section 2 League game.
Mr and Mrs Lewis Haines hosted a baked pork dinner for Lititz Springs Pretzel Bakery employees and friends on Tuesday evening. Guests included multiple local residents and their families from town Ephrata Lancaster Neffsville and surrounding areas.
Eight directors were re-elected by Lititz Springs National Bank stockholders at the annual election Tuesday afternoon in the banking house. Directors listed include BD M Graybill H C Miller C S Landes Adam J Burkholder Dr M H Yoder P K Graybill Chas hk Keath and Mahlon H Hostetter. The directors organized at their weekly meeting with President Graybill Vice President Dr Yoder Cashier H H Dichm Assistant Leroy Kling and Tellers Ralph W Wier John W Eberly.
Directors Samuel W. Buch Eli L. Garber Robert J. Black Senator H. J. Pierson Dr. S. R. Posey H. H. Reifsnyder C. B. Risser Joseph B. Wissler and Henry B. Gibbel were reelected at the bank’s annual meeting Tuesday and will reorganize at the weekly session on Monday.
