Five hundred men and boys gathered at the Warwick House on New Year’s Day for a fox chase. The fox was hunted down by hounds and riders, killed by Wal Fran’s dog. A Warwick man bought a goose for Christmas dinner but it was stolen twice and reappeared before ending up with a poor family. A sleigh incident and other minor local news followed, including store openings, a jeweler installing a safe, church moves, and various community updates.
