Lititz High School boys and girls both defeated Memorial Presbyterian quintets in Lancaster on Christmas afternoon. The boys won 46 to 22 and the girls 20 to 10 as Lititz dominated on home floor. Springs players Keith and Rincer contributed key scores while Ritroth Gary praised the budding Lititz team for future seasons.

Successful Christmas Exercises at U B Sunday School
Christmas programs at the WU B church and Penryn Reformed Church drew large audiences. Rev Walters, soloists Sylvia Plautz, Margie White, and others led recitations, readings, and songs in a season of festive decorations and generous offerings for orphans and needy in Bethany Home.
Pastor Receives Christmas Offerings and Community Support
Squire Wolf led a gratitude-filled moment as the congregation presented Pastor at the two county churches with $22.25 and larder provisions in appreciation of eight years of service. Christmas programs at St. Paul’s Lutheran featured the theme He Came to Serve with an enhanced can- dle canopy, electric lighting, and an orchestra. The Evangelical Sunday School showcased Christmas in the Heart with multiple solos and recitations, while Pastor Harber delivered the address. Clergy and students received candy boxes as part of the holiday observances.
