Boy Shot While Loading Shotgun Near Lititz
A 13 year old boy, son of Ira Rohrer, living about one mile north of Lititz, sustained a gunshot wound to the right foot when a shotgun discharged accidentally Sunday evening. He was admitted to Lancaster General Hospital for treatment and later returned home.

Horace Eschbach visiting Gordonville to nurse a patient faced a violent attack from Aaron Bealer. In darkness he wrestled the raging maniac, torn clothing and scratches marking the struggle while lights shattered and a china cabinet toppled. Former Littiz Woman Dies at Pottstown Home
Mrs. Killian wife of Peter Killian died Tuesday at her Potts town home from a complication of illness at age 88. Born in Lititz she was a daughter of the late Tarry and Rebecca Conder and lived away from Lititz until her marriage about nineteen years ago. She was a member of the United Hvaa ach and later became a byter anchorch in Pottstown. Surviving besides her husband are six children Dorothy Helen Mary Isabelle Wallace and Chr Ter, father Harry Gonder of Connecticut. Two brothers and a sister Starry Ralph and Mrs Henry Hackman also survive. Funeral services will be held Friday morning in Pottstown with burial there.

Gas Rates at Lititz Compared to Other Places
A correction updates last week's gas schedule. The investment is $150000 and stock $50000. The present dividend would not cover 242 percent of the investment. New schedule raises the minimum charge to 60 cents per month for 200 cubic feet or less, and 7 to 1.00 dollars for up to 490 cubic feet. First 2000 cubic feet rise about 12 percent, while above 5000 cubic feet rates fall about 28 percent. A table compares past rates in other communities.
