Harry McCreary Nominated To Head Lititz Fire Company
Harry McCreary was nominated for president of the Lititz Fire Co at the November meeting. Other officers nominated include William Zartman first vice president Harry Way second vice president William Fasnacht and Lloyd Hoff man treasurer Harry Kready financial secretary Lloyd Smith and Clarence Herr secretary Christ Koehler and Lloyd Hoffman trustees Emory P Wagner chief and Ross Almoney janitor. Additional nominations may be made at the December meeting. Chief Wagner announced Santa’s visit date and the fire house Christmas display is being prepared by Carl Reedy of Rothsville. Trustees were authorized to seek sealed bids for tires for the new truck. Koehler reported on the Bowmansville firemen meeting.
