Schnerder backers rally for governor in Centre Church picnic
Editor notes Mark Sullivan's view on national issues echoes in Pennsylvania where the choice is between experienced public service and political shift. He promotes Attorney General William A. Schnader as the best for lower cost, honest government, urging voters to forget party lines for the governor race. The Republican nominee returns to his birthplace for a Brecknock Township Centre Church gathering with family ties and local history.

It calls the figure regrettable but urges continued private industry expansion, noting about 40 million already employed.
