County events highlight community gatherings and transit talks
In Ephrata a factory picnic gathered 300 workers and families at Sandy Beach Park with speeches by W. B. Rohebach and H. G. Hutter. Elsewhere Conestoga Transportation seeks to reroute buses on Route 62 to East Petersburg, while Fruitville residents enjoy local social events and a schnitzing party yields preserves. New Holland Lions host a trolley versus bus transition with Emcees Col. John Wickersham and prize drawings as Evernet Cooker demos attract crowds.
