Gas line tragedy claims local gas worker
A gas line incident in Lititz ended with the death of James Zook, a three year employee of the Lititz Gas Company later with Pennsylvania Power and Light. The valve to the house line was found open and gas poured out. Bomberger left the scene around 9 30. Neighbors smelled gas near eleven. Survivors include his sister Mrs Roy Oberlin and several other sisters. Funeral plans were not set.

She has refused to change her American name.
