Pneumonia Follows Bridge Plunge Near Manheim
John Fleishman an insurance agent and his wife Catherine were rescued after his car plunged eight feet into a stream near the Manheim and Lancaster pikes. Both parents suffered internal injuries and pneumonia while Catherine and Mildred escaped unharmed. Early rescuers from a passing auto aided them, with an ambulance from St Joseph's Hospital Lancaster expected for treatment. The crash occurred at a concrete bridge near Sun Hill road where night glare from a trolley contributed to the accident. The dangerous, unprotected bridge has long troubled local residents who have urged repairs.

New Electric Pump At Water Works

Milestone Storekeeper Recalls Lititz’s Growth Over 48 Years
