Feasibility report backs $2.3 million Linton school plan

Kingscott Associates presented a feasibility study on Linton Stockton School facility needs at a Wednesday meeting. The report analyzes funding limits of about $2.375 million, site adequacy, safety, traffic flow, and modernization plans for the elementary and secondary buildings with recommended long term development and consolidations.

A Whitley County grand jury will review a State Board of Accounts report showing 5451 in receipts for the Churubusco water and sewage system not deposited properly. The board cites many errors in distributing receipts between the two utilities. Greene County General Hospital Board Action Summary

The Greene County General Hospital board held a special meeting Tuesday night. Members Maynard Baggio Delmar Hasler Oscar Kramer Tom Bailey M D Jean Resler Gale Williams and Bernard Schantz attended with administrator Malcom Clippinger. Contracts for nurse anesthesists were approved. Blacktop repairs were authorized at the administrator's discretion. A 14 cubic foot refrigerator costing 375 and a adding machine at 149 50 were approved along with a 20 000 gallon oil tank. A 2500 repair for the TV camera in the radiology image intensifier was approved. Picket pagers costing 4000 were discussed and action deferred pending more information.
