A relief committee aided needy miners during the four teen weeks strike, soliciting funds in Linton and neighboring areas and aiding western Kentucky coal fields. The auditing committee dated September 11 1922 reports cash received 4710.50 disbursements 4685.45 balance 12.55 and amount due to F O Wiley 12.50.

The Baptist church holds its annual business meeting tomorrow night at 7 30. Reports from departments will be reviewed and officers for the coming year elected. Delegates to the association will be chosen and the annual letter read. A lunch by the ladies will follow. Expect a large attendance.
