Unusual Accident To Former Linton Man In Fort Wayne
Dr Merrill I Steele of Fort Wayne suffered a rare and grave accident in a dentist chair when a burr broke tearing the sublingual gland and severing an artery under the tongue. He was transfused and kept in critical condition at Methodist Hospital Fort Wayne. assistance was immediate and his life was saved by rapid medical care. His father Rev I S Steele and wife Mrs Francesa Neft Steele remained at his bedside as updates came in. A prior fall injured young Carolyn Steele whose nose remains broken but improving.
