In Indianapolis on September 20, the United Mine Workers of America begins a biennial convention at Tomlinson Hall to draft wage agreements for both anthracite and bituminous miners. The Common Council of Linton Indiana will hold a meeting on September 19 1921 to receive sealed bids for run of mine coal to supply the municipal light plant from October 1 1921 to April 1 1922.
