14 Year Old Held For Jewelry Theft
A 14 year old Linton boy confessed to breaking a window at Francis Jewel Box on East Vincennes street with a rock and stealing six rings and an expensive necklace. Worthington Sees Two Vehicle Wrecks No Injuries Reported
Worthington police report two noninjury crashes on Saturday. A 1961 two door driven by Thelma City and a 1957 station wagon driven by Joe Ellen Wadsworth collided on North Washington Street as both backed from parking spaces. Damages to the Wadsworth car exceed $200. At midnight, Billy Joe Bechtel’s car skidded on wet grass, crossed into a ditch and toppled onto its side on state road 67 near the Highway 67 cafe. Bechtel was uninjured.
