Government Aims at Huge Radio Telephony Project

Postmaster General Hays announced a vast government driven plan to disseminate weather market reports and daily government information by radio telephony to offices and homes nationwide. The project includes study of government control of radio telegraphy and telephony and sending stations within 200 mile radii. An investigator will tour Europe to examine Berlin broadcasts and a Budapest telephone newspaper as part of the inquiry.
