Indiana blue sky law proves satisfactory, officials say
Indianapolis reports progress of Indiana's 1925 blue sky law as the state security commission records rising rejections. In the first five months of the law's operation securities rejected total 43,264,900 compared with 2,259,000 for the entire prior year. The measure removes exemptions for existing market securities, increases penalties, and boosts moral impact on promoters. 1994 fiscal year approvals reached 54,557,235 with administering costs 18,981.75, receipts 25,917.65, leaving a balance of 7,955.90.
