Death of West Linton resident Thomas E Cook at 68
Thomas Eugene Cook aged 68 died yesterday at his West Linton home after a brief pneumonia illness. A coal miner by trade he lived in Linton for 35 years and West Linton for about 30. Survived by five sons Bryan W E Cook of Terre Haute Leslie Cook Frank Cook Leroy Cook and one daughter Maude Rogers, two brothers Ed and Geo Cook, and four sisters. Funeral will be Saturday at 3 pm from the family residence Rev M R Willson officiating. Burial in Dale cemetery.

Absent Voter Ballots Enabled by Mail in Linton
Linton voters away on election day may apply in person for absent voter ballots starting Saturday October 24. Applicants must sign an affidavit not to be in Linton on election day.
