Ralph Plew a senior at Indiana University Bloomington has won a $100 prize for the best student in the pre medic course the award will be applied to his medical college studies in Indianapolis next winter Plew is finishing the four year course in three years and has a brilliant university record He was also honored as Linton high school’s most brilliant graduate and completed high school in one term Plew the son of Mr and Mrs Claude Plew of Linton should bring pride to his native city.
Members of Troop No. 2 hiked to Henry Duhne's woods for a lively campfire with stories and games then returned to Linton around 9 PM. A future meeting aims to organize a home for scouts and expand troops with city officials and community members in attendance.
