Driver Fined After Car Hits Train in Jasonville

Jasonville officials report 56 year old Mack Brown of Route 1 was arrested after his car struck a Milwaukee Railroad train at the North Meridian Street crossing Tuesday night. Thanksgiving Day Closures In Linton And Greene County

Government offices the Post Office and stores in Linton will be closed Thursday for Thanksgiving. The Post Office lobby will stay open for lock box patrons with no window service or deliveries. Incoming mail arrives 11 45 a m. outbound mail leaves soon after. All Greene County offices including city hall and the county courthouse will close. Boomfield courthouse closed Friday and Saturday for furnace repairs.

City Council Looks At Parking Needs
