Bicknell Pennsy Agent Killed By Freight Train
C Frank Nelson aged 55 a veteran railroader and Pennsylvan ia Railroad freight agent at Bicknell Indiana was killed instantly Thursday when he fell beneath a moving freight car en route to Bicknell. A trainman James Earl found the mangled body after seeing a derailed car realign on a switch. Nelson likely intended to board the train and was struck as twenty three cars passed over him. Funeral home arrangements were made. Nelson a past master of the Bicknell Masonic Lodge had served the railroad for forty years and is survived by his widow three sons and three brothers.
