Mrs George Courtney of Elnora moved to her daughter Mrs Charles Trotter in city Sunday afternoon. Mrs J Howard Lynn dismissed this morning.
Reports from Hendaye and Burgos say a Republican defense council led by Gen. Sigismundo Casado overthrew Juan Negrin and allied Communists. Casado invited peace terms acceptable to all Spaniards. Nationalists claim the move brings immediate pacification and notes that Communists are not on the new council with moderate Socialist Juan Besteiro opposed to violence.
The Jack Benny case in New York federal court was postponed to April 3 while Benny remains in Hollywood on $1,000 bail. Co defendant Chaperau pleaded guilty and opposed the delay citing his financial troubles as Benny seeks leverage. Burns received a related penalty. Benny faces up to six years and $3,000 fine if convicted on three counts for smuggling two gold clips and a diamond studded bracelet on October 7, 1987.
Rev. Fred Hibbard and Rev. Phillips G. Barnard of the White Rose Pentecostal Assembly announced the ongoing revival will continue for a further week. The public was invited to attend.

Digging along White Mud Creek, Charles Morey uncovered a dinosaur skeleton. A spine section was sent to the University of Saskatchewan and then Ottawa. Experts in the capital declared it the largest specimen ever found.
Funeral services for Minnie Stewart who died Saturday were conducted at the family residence on Fourth and D streets northwest with Rev. Sam Tuttle officiating. Burial followed in the family plot at Fairview cemetery.

A three car collision near Washington Indiana during heavy rain and fog caused seven deaths and other fatal injuries across Indiana over the weekend. Victims included Fred Connell and others from several towns. a Carlisle man Alonzo McKinley died in Sullivan after being struck in Carlisle. McKinley’s funeral is set for Tuesday at the Carlisle Christian church.
