Money transfer scam nets $100 in Greensburg
A man calling himself Chester Surface of Indianapolis, posing as a Big Four fireman, bilked J. R. Clark of the Western Union office in Greensburg of $100. He produced a check for $100 to wire funds to a non existent brother in Cincinnati, paid a $1.67 transfer fee, then fled after boarding a freight train to Cincinnati.
