City must buy power for Linton electric needs

The Citizen argues Linton cannot build or repair a power plant within its finances and must buy electric power. Purdue’s Prof Harding, after inspecting the system, says a suitable plant is unaffordable and even with funds, could not meet demand. the Public Service Commission concurs. A contract to purchase power is presented as the prudent solution, with broad local support and no better option found.
