Simple Low Cost Home Design With Practical Features
The 5 room house emphasizes simplicity and good proportions to avoid a high or sunken look. A hood over the entrance is debated but would not greatly affect cost or marketability. It includes a half basement with the heating plant and is valued at 3000 dollars with a 2700 dollar FHA insured mortgage. Monthly payments over 20 years would average about 16 dollars, excluding taxes and hazard insurance.
