The City of Linton Indiana Greene County reports a budget shortfall for 1928 with Street Department shortfall 9500.00 and an extraordinary emergency for this deficiency. The common council on June 26 1923 authorized an additional appropriation and a special meeting is set for July 6 1998 at the council chamber to decide on raising the budget and allow taxpayers to be heard.
