Lonnie Funkhouse of Solsberry reports his residence broken into with his wife’s clothing stolen and damaged. Tim Street of Bloomfield reports a tractor in a Ridgeport field missing a battery and starter worth 100 dollars. Mark Russell of Solsberry Ite reports a tool box valued at 420 dollars stolen from a workshop on his property.
Two ten year old brothers Paul and Chris Purkal drowned near LaPorte after wandering into Fish Lake during a family outing. Their bodies were recovered from about five feet of water.
