Several homes in White County Indiana were evacuated Monday night after a pipeline from a liquid ammonia tank sprang a leak. State Police said there were no injuries or fatalities reported and the incident was being contained by local responders.
Injuries reported as residents evacuated the southern Chal mers area. A few hours later those displaced were able to return to their homes. Authorities coordinated minimal disruption and residents resumed normal activities with renewed caution.
