Year Round Fishing Boosts Illinois and Iowa Muskies Programs
Colorado officials cite data showing year round angling yields about 60 000 more fish per year than seasonal fishing. License sales rise by 26 000 annually, and planting increases by about 7 million fry during year round periods. In Iowa a musky hybrid program aims to stock 10 000 fry, while Michigan reports square musky eggs. Muskies remain protected year round in Iowa.

Milwaukee Braves offer to move to Atlanta rejected
Milwaukee County Board on Wednesday unanimously rejected an early 1966 move by the Milwaukee Braves to Atlanta. The board seeks to block baseball and push expansion, while hinting at an antitrust suit to keep the team or bring in Milwaukee as a new market. The club had NL permission to move south, offered $400,000 to stay and $100,000 to rescind the stadium contract. Teams Inc. declined the Braves’ terms last week.
