Mrs Susie May Wright died after two years of tuberculosis at age 30 years 5 months 26 days. She leaves husband Floyd Wright and five children Cletus Doris Virginia Hugh and Dexier at home. Surviving relatives include her father James Stewart two sisters and two brothers plus half siblings. Funeral at First Baptist church Friday June 5 at 10 o'clock with Rev. O A Cook and burial in Bloomfield cemetery.

Sullivan county miners plan their first annual memorial Sunday June 7 at Court House Park. City Mine local No 5407 of the U M W of A organized the event to honor 51 of 145 union brothers lost in the February mine disaster. Fred F Bays will chair the relief tribute with a miner speaker joining. A parade will proceed from the park to Center Ridge cemetery to lay garlands on the graves.
