Hoover to Lead Search for Florida Kidnappers
FBI Director J Edgar Hoover arrived in Princeton Florida to take command of the search for five year old Jimmy Cash who was kidnapped last Saturday night. Hundreds of armed volunteers scoured the Everglades the Keys and southeastern Florida in heavy rain. Hoover established the Miami FBI office as the command center 25 miles from the Cash home where the boy slept when abducted. The $10 000 ransom offer remained tied to the case as authorities intensified the manhunt.

First inter club golf match set for Sunday at Linton

Coal Commission Rejects Plea to Halt Data Disclosure

A damage suit for 1500 was filed in Greene county circuit court at Bloomfield by Fred Jordan against Loren Johnson for a two gravel road collision near Lyons. Jordan seeks 1000 for injuries and 400 for truck repairs. Johnson pleaded guilty to public intoxication and was fined 10. Attorneys: C C Hendren and Paul Haywood.
