Odon Ind July 12 D W Osborn a well known farmer and stockman north of town reported two cattle died from a disease resembling rabies. A milk cow became vicious and attack prone, later a steer showed same symptoms and had to be shot. State lab found no negri bodies, suspecting the steer died before they formed. Neighbors cattle in contact are being watched.
The Southern Indiana Baseball League presents current standings with teams like Plainville, Qwik Pedyas, Jasonville, Loogootee, Washington, Bloomfield, Linton, Shoals, Dagger, and Carlisle. Records show W and L tallies and winning percentages, with several teams at .760 and .600, several win totals vary, and Carlisle at winless.
