Albert Gray Dies in Indianapolis at 71
Albert Marvin Gray died at Robert Long hospital at 4 30 this morning after a three year decline in health. He lived in Linton ten years and worked in coal mines across Indiana Illinois and Kentucky. He and Eva Gray celebrated 50th wedding anniversary January 21 1944. He was born December 14 1873 in Centertown Kentucky and was 71 years six months and eighteen days old. Survivors include Eva Gray four sons a brother two sisters a niece nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The body was taken to Welch and Cornett Funeral Home for arrangements.

A fleet of nearly 600 B 29 Superfortresses dropped about 30 500 tons of bombs on Honshu and western Kyushu in a four target strike that set four Japanese cities ablaze.
