Spice 45 of Bloomfield faces reckless homicide reckless driving and operating a vehicle under the influence after a Saturday collision on State Road 67 north of Worthington killed Dewey Lester Brown 22 Lyons rural route. Blood test showed .17 percent alcohol. Brown died when tractor door crushed his head. Spice treated, later dismissed from Freeman Greene hospital. Bond set. The crash marked Greene county’s first traffic fatality of 1954.
