Former Linton Man Dies in Hospital
William H. Norris 68 of Wheatland and a former Linton resident died Monday at Good Samaritan hospital Vincennes after two years of ill health. A retired coal miner born March 6 1886 north of Dugger he moved to Wheatland about thirty years ago. Survived by widow Esther Myers Norris two daughters Edith Sherrard East Chicago Opal Reel Wheatland one brother Earl Norris Shelburn eight grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. A daughter Hazel Bledsoe and two brothers preceded him. Funeral 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Assembly of God Wheatland with burial in Wheatland cemetery.
