Indiana AFL union members launched a $285,000 fund raising campaign to defeat nine Republican Hoosier congressmen who backed the Taft Hartley Act. Auto Damaged In Saturday Night Crash In City

Funeral services were conducted in the Jenkins Chapel at Bloomfield for Willard F. Gillett a Fairplay township resident who died in Freeman Greene County hospital. Born December 8 181 his body was moved to Flora for further services Tuesday with burial planned there. He was a former railroad engineer and a member of the Flora Masonic lodge.
