Woman Is Held Captive After Apartment Accident
A 65 year old woman, Miss Anne Saxler, survived three days pinned beneath an overturned dresser in a tree rooted bungalow in Chicago. Neighbors reported she had not been seen for days. Police rescued her and found the house sparsely furnished with no stove or gas while she had used lamps and cold meals. A police dog was found in a cage and another trapped in littered junk, with the tree growing through the living room ceiling.
