Ada Price wife of Ora Price longtime Linton resident and founder of the Bay View club dies in Tampa Florida at about 1 30 am at age about 69. She moved to Florida in 1915 and is survived by her husband a son Mary Price and daughter Edith Montgomery with a Stanley Price former sister-in-law and other relatives. Funeral plans not announced.

Paroled man held to finish prison term after auto theft attempt

Bernard Thomas seven year old son of Mr and Mrs Walter Thomas is recovering from serious facial burns after kerosene exploded in a kitchen stove at their Northwest street home. He attempted to pour kerosene on a low flame to help his mother when the blast occurred. The boy’s face was burned and his hair singed. His father was at work at the Antioch Power company and his mother was ill in bed. Bernard is expected to return to Northwest Ward school within a few days.
