Don Reed 26 of Linton completed a 6000 mile amphibious jeep expedition from North to South America but faced an accident and financial woes in Guatemala City. He was jailed briefly in Mexico on a disputed arms smuggling claim and had to live on oranges before sending for funds. Reed was en route to Indianapolis and expected home early Tuesday morning.
