The Linton Stockton township school corporation will consolidate August 1 with Herschel Withycombe a Democrat four year term and Clyde Reintjes a Republican two year term chosen by the township Advisory Board. George E. Greene Republican four year term and Paul Lester Democrat two year term were appointed by the Linton City Council. The township trustee serves as the fifth member. The board officials will begin duties before consolidation to prepare for a new consolidated Grade school costing about 600000.
