Missing Airplane Sought Near Florida
Navy planes searched a 200 mile area around Key West for a missing jet trainer with an instructor and student aboard. The aircraft from Boca Chica Air Field departed Tuesday afternoon on a high altitude training flight and was overdue with fuel limited to a few hours. Names of the two men were not released.

Sailor Will Face Traffic Charges
A Crane sailor Thomas K. Beek 21 will face three charges in Bloomfield justice Frank Deans court after a serious auto truck collision at the junction of state roads 54 and 57. State Policeman George Campbell filed charges for failing to stop at a stop sign reckless driving and driving without an operator license. Beek is treated in Freeman Greene county hospital. Wilbred Menard 20 of Crane riding with Beek had minor injuries and was discharged after treatment.
