The two story farm home of Mr and Mrs Floyd Shake twelve miles south of Sandborn burned Tuesday morning with flames growing quickly in a brisk wind. Fire units from Sandborn Elnora and Lyons aided while neighbors and volunteers moved most furniture to safety. The Shake family relocated to a remodeled property northeast of Sandborn that afternoon.
