Earl Vandeventer 20 longtime Jasonville High football captain and varsity basketball player died after a ten day pneumonia illness in Freeman Greene County Hospital. He was born in Jasonville and survived by parents Albert and Mrs Vandeventer and four siblings. A scheduled basketball game was postponed and school dismissed in mourning.
