The First National Bank of Jasonville unveils plans for a new two story bank building on Main Street, west of the current People’s State Bank. Architect John T. Fritz completed plans for a marble and stone exterior, marble interior, steam heating, and four month completion with an estimated cost of $30,000. Wallace Thornton serves as president and Edward Berns as cashier of Greene County’s senior financial institution.
