Wendell R. Lutes of Edinburg received a seven year federal sentence on 10 counts of mail fraud and SEC violations. Judge Dale J. Holder ordered four years for the first six counts and three years for the remaining counts, to be served consecutively, plus a $13,000 fine and court costs. He was convicted Dec. 14 of diverting nearly 90 000 in cash and stock from Brown County Mortgage Co.
