Raymond Harris twenty year old resident of Palestine is held in Greene circuit court on breaking and entering charges. He confessed to entering Sam Clayton’s home near the Triangle northwest of Linton last Wednesday and taking a .22 rifle cartridges and under ten dollars. Police officers Hayek and Taylor made the arrest after investigation. Hayek will return the rifle and money to Linton today.

Noted Financier Lamont Dies at 77 in Florida Home
Thomas William Lamont head of J. P. Morgan and Co. died in his sleep at his winter home in Boca Grande Florida after a long illness. He was 77 and died shortly before midnight with his wife and two of his four children at his bedside. Lamont had been in poor health for some time but showed no particular weakness since arriving at his lavish estate early last month.
